I like Sig's, but I'm wondering how they account for at least the one caught on camera where the officer's hands didn't appear to be anywhere near the holster when the gun discharged? Did the holster do it??

The comments have several videos of dropped P320's going off.

At this point SIG's lawyers are just following the 3D's playbook... Delay, Deny, Defend.

They have no good defense to their pistol going off in the holster.

In 2023 Texas had 2,802 Highway Patrolmen (many more carry the Sig P320 in DPS) and they have had zero dischargees. Maybe there are a few, but it must be very few. Also I wonder how many of those guns were worked on by “shade tree” gunsmiths before the discharges?

Here is the video posted earlier, but I link it to immediately before the discharge.

In the holster. Hasn't been removed or reholstered. Nothing in the holster. Discharges from bumping the door when exiting.

Like I said there may be some bad apples with the Sign320, but with over 2,800 Sig P320 and P320 Carry’s in service at Texas DPS there have been zero reported failures. Maybe they had a bad run of Sig P320’s. Mine has been perfect and I have carried it for a couple of years now.
