what how and where do you carry?
I personally carry a Glock 17 with a grip reduction and chop to G26 size with a Pearce grip "j" in a FIST Inc. K4 tuckable holster with a sweat guard in the appendix position. My Glock is equipped with the XS Big Dot 24/7 sights and an LWD Sliderlock safety. I use Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P ammo. I also had Jim Murnak of FIST Inc. make me a couple of tuckable mag holders.
I'm having a standard XD-9 reduced and chopped to the subcompact grip to carry as well.
I've found that the grip is the most difficult to conceal- the slide length isn't an issue.

I carry a Glock 27 in a Desantis "Tuck This" holster around the 4-4:30 position. I like this holster because it is tuckable and it holds an extra magazine. I usually carry a NAA Mini with the folding grip clipped to my pocket just like a knife.

Haha. Now that I've finally figured out how to post pics, I get to be the one to ask.... Where are pics of your gun?

I currently carry a piece of paper with our company policy against firearms in the workplace so when a person is about to shoot, I just show them the piece of paper and they stop.

Re: what how and where do you carry?
My carry gun & method varies depending on what I'm wearing. My favorite is the 1911 in a Milt Sparks canted IWB, but I usually can't pull it off. My next choice is the Bersa .380. I wear it in either a shirt tucker or pro-undercover (Comptac).
If I'm wearing something that doesn't work with a belt, I'll wear a belly band. I'll do the purse thing for church if none of those work.
I carry anywhere I legally can. Like tvone, I am not permitted to bring my gun into the workplace. I will have to point any criminals/terrorists to the "Gun-Free School Zone" signs, since I'm positive it would simply have been an oversight on their part.

Xring, sounds like a well thought out rig. I'd love to take at it.

Para Carry 6.45 LDA in a Galco Royal Guard IWB holster. I carry wherever I legally can.
When I'm on my spread, I frequently OC with either the Para or my tritium-sighted Gold Cup Commander.

Xring, brother, I think that is about the single most dedicated attempt at strategically and comfortably concealed carry that I've ever heard. Gotta hand it to you! Post up some pics when you are finished with the XD9 grip reduction. I am very interested to see if it effects the backstrap safety and your hand's ability to stay on it when firing multiple rounds.xringfighter wrote:I personally carry a Glock 17 with a grip reduction and chop to G26 size with a Pearce grip "j" in a FIST Inc. I also had Jim Murnak of FIST Inc. make me a couple of tuckable mag holders.

I've found that the grip is the most difficult to conceal- the slide length isn't an issue.

Re: what how and where do you carry?
Typically, I carry one of two 4 inch Colt Official Police .38 Spl revolvers from 1961 or 1944. In the wintertime and fall, I carry it mostly in a shoulder holster (except for tonight as I wore a suede leather jacket that was long enough to conceal a hip paddle holster) and in the summer and spring I mostly carry it in a paddle holster at 3 o'clock or 4 o clock position under a sport coat.
Frequently, for a little more ease and convinence I carry a Colt Detective Special .38 Spl. from 1966 at 9 o clock position from a Metro Crossdraw belt holster (especially in the summertime)
For familiarity, I will also occasionally carry 1) A 4 inch Colt Python ,357 magnum in the paddle holster at 3 o clock postion, 2) Sig Sauer P226 9mm on hip at 3 o clock postion, 3) a Springfield Armory GI .45 1911 in shoulder holster or hip holster at 3 o clock postion, 4) a Smith & Wesson 4 inch M-15 .38 Spl in shoulder holster, 5) a Smith & Wesson 6 inch Highway Patrolman M-28 .357 Magnum in a shoulder holster.
