Should malls go to knife-free zones?

Enters food court restroom.
Sees bystander using urinal w/back to him.
Stabs him once in the back.
Leaves restroom and strolls around the mall carrying the bloody knife in his hand.

You know I gave my son one of those plastic extending light sabers and we spar all the time with them. My wife tried to do it one time and got a nasty cut cause she didn't block when he attacked. So yeah its possiable.

She tried to take it away and I told her not to pick something up if she was not prepared for the out come. Needless to say my son still has his sabers.

Pulls out knife and attempts to stab man once in the back.
Observant CHL draws weapon and orders said felon to stop and drop the knife.
Said felon ignores order and turns to stab CHL holder.
CHL holder stops the threat.
Said felon leaves the restroom in a body bag and is pushed through the mall to the body car, with law enforcement carrying the bloody knife in a bag.

What malls should do is add the word "KNIFE" to 30.06 signs, thereby making them non-compliant.
