Seminar: Texas Self-Defense & Deadly Force Laws
I've had a number of requests to do another seminar on Texas Self-Defense & Deadly Force Laws. If there is enough interest, I'll get it on the schedule. It would be held at PSC Shooting Club, Inc. on FM 528 in Friendswood, TX and it would be scheduled from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm on a Friday evening.
We can seat about 30 people in the PSC classroom. Please post on this thread if you would be interested in coming and let me know how many people would be with you.
Chas.

If it's held late May or sometime in June, I'll probably attend.

I would attend if it is held in June.
Re: Seminar: Texas Self-Defense & Deadly Force Laws
I'm interested, Chas., and would plan to be there unless some conflict I can't get out of gets in the way. I would try to get my licensed son up in College Station to attend with me.

Any chance of recording this and distributing it to those of us who find it highly unlikely that we could make it south of Houston on a Friday evening? Please?!?

Re: Seminar: Texas Self-Defense & Deadly Force Laws
I'm going to be in the Houston area for the next 3 weeks starting tomorrow. Depending on my state of health, I might be interested in attending. Are we talking a similar time frame here, or are you thinking more down the road like sometime in June or something?

Re: Seminar: Texas Self-Defense & Deadly Force Laws
I'll schedule the seminar at PSC in June. I would like to see if people prefer a Saturday afternoon or Friday evening. People come from all over the Houston area and a 6:30 starting time will mean a lot of folks would be driving in heavy traffic on Fridays. I'm going to add a quick poll to the thread to get people's preference.
As for recording, I've never agreed to a recording as I am concerned it would impact my candor in answering questions from the audience. But the reality is many people cannot come to Houston and my schedule won't allow me to travel enough to cover the State. So I am leaning toward recording this seminar, after all, I can always EDIT it! This is not a firm decision, but that's probably what I will do.
Please hit the poll so I can see when to schedule the seminar.

Charles,
I voted for Saturday afternoon. I think you will get more people interested in attending then. I would be willing to drive to Houston for the seminar, but there is no way I could get there on a Friday. Saturday would let some people from out of the area attend also.
