I have a question for those who own a G26 or G27 and carry using an IWB holster. I just purchased a G26 as a CCH. I already own a Kahr PM9. The PM9 is considerably thinner. I am about to purchase a crossbreed tuckable IWB for my Kahr and was considering getting one for my G26 also.
To my question. Do any of you have any comments on the comfort level with a tucked in shirt for the G26 or 27?

Re: Glock 26 question
I carry my G27 daily in a Desantis "Tuck This" holster with no problems. I usually only tuck in my undershirt and leave my outer shirt untucked.

Re: Glock 26 question
03L,
I carry a G33 in a CrossBreed. It is the most comfortable set up I have. I would suggest that you ask for your Crossbreed to be made with "A full grip/ combat draw". When I first got my CrossBreed, I could not get a proper grip on my Glock. I called, talked to the owner and sent it back. He reworked it.(full grip/combat draw). It is great NOW. CrossBreed prices have risen and now they aren't much less than the Comp-Tac Minator Spartan. I just bought a Spartan for my SIG P239. It has thicker leather and heavier duty Kydex. But I like the thinner, lighter Crossbreed better even though the quality is lesser than the Comp-Tac.
Mine is not the tuckable version. I personally don't do well with tucking a shirt around my gun. Tried it once with another brand and didn't have any luck with it.
Hope this info helps you. Regards, OE

That actually helps allot. You answered one of the main questions I was undecided about. I was not sure about doing the combat draw. I think I will go that way now. I have to be able to tuck my shirt in. I have filled out the order form two or three times now and stopped because I didn't want to add more holsters to my "useless holster" collection..LOL. V clips...or J clips? The clip it comes with seems like it would stand out like a soar thumb in my dress shirts and slacks. I also wear the thinner styled dress belts. The thicker belts like they are selling might look funky in dress cloths.

Re: Glock 26 question
I don't know about Crossbreed, but some people have "belt clips" that have velcro on them. They go between your belt and pants. But you have to glue velcro to the backside of your belt for them to work. I always put an empty IWB holster on my pants and thread the belt thru the clips to lessen the chance of breaking the clips.
I have often thought that a narrow clip made of that black metal strapping material would be almost invisable on a black belt. But I haven't ever tried to bend up a set of clips because I always wear a "cover garment" of some type and my belt & clips are not visable. I had poor results with "J clips" they would end up unhooked from the belt and get behind it.
I think you will like the Crossbreed. Good luck with the tucking part, OE

Re: Glock 26 question
G26 in Sidearmor IWB with J-hooks.
Light; comfortable; easy on, easy off. The holster with weapon is not much larger than the gun itself, easily removed and transferred to briefcase or backpack or elsewhere when necessary.
Cover garment or untucked shirt is always nice. But if a tucked shirt and no cover garment is called for, the weapon will be mounted on the belt close to the side junction of the front and rear tails of the shirt; just tuck the tails in fore and aft of the weapon. For a balanced look the shirt will have to be scruffed out a little all around the belt line, but this is true with all 'tuckable' holsters; a really tight tuck around the weapon will cause the butt to print.
And yes, there is an extra motion to the draw - first grabbing a handfull of shirt and jerking up to uncover the gun butt.
Works for me.

Re: Glock 26 question
Thanks for the advice. Being a "fat boy" , I like to leave my shirt scruffed around the bottom anyway. I am going to order the crossbreed.
