Hello. I wanted to see what everyone thought about my new grips. I had them made out of desert ironwood. I don't have them yet..but the were just finished this past weekend and are on their way.

Where did you have them done. I have some ironwood blanks, but no skill to do it myself.

They were made by Ed at http://www.wickedgrips.com. He has some of the best customer service too. Emails were always answered extremely quickly. All aroundgreat guy. The silver was custom made and he did all the fitting and polishing and so on...basicly everything but make the silver stars. Check out his website...pretty cool stuff on there.

That is what is cool about Ed. He doesn't just make grips for 1911s. He makes them for hi powers and ar15s, and probably for just about anything that has grips on it.
