Got an LCP @ the gun show today, Can't find ammo.

I bought a LCP, and I ordered the Buffalo Bore. I had it in 5 days. It is expensive, but most self defense ammo is. You get 20 rounds....6 for each magazine, one for the chamber, and seven to verify with. At least you can carry a loaded gun.

I just ordered 300 rounds of PMC 380 from Cabela's for $104. They said they will ship in 2 weeks. I am not holding my breath on this time frame but I will let ya'll know.

Good plan. I'm still waiting on a backorder of .40 and .45 from April 15. They have been 2-3 weeks out for three and a half months.

This reason is the same reason I am thinking about selling my Ruger LCP. Ammo has always been more expensive than 9mm, but now its ridiculous. Not to mention that while the gun is comfy to carry, I don't know if the caliber sacrifice is something I want to live with anymore. I would be lying if i said it weren't a nice little pistol...when you can shoot it.

Academy in Port Arthur had 20+ boxes of CCI Blazer FMJ .380 ammo yesterday-$18/50 rounds.
I've seen alot of the 100 round packs of .380 WWB showing up at Wal-Mart stores lately too.

I just got notice today that my 50 rds of Remington Golden Saber 380 AUTO 102GR BJHP's are being processed to ship from Cabela's.
Assuming this stuff cycles in my LCP, it will be my carry ammo.
I ordered on 10 Jun and they said at the time 4-5 weeks. Accurate for a change.

I got 3 boxes of Blazer 95gr TMJ at an Academy in Dallas on Friday. The guy working the counter said they hadn't seen 380 ammo there in a looong time. So maybe things are getting better.

I'm looking at a Sig p238...you know...now that I have the ammo and I can't return it I will need something to shoot it out of!

Inasmuch as the LCP will be in your hands soon, have you thought about accquiring some ammo prior to that blessed event? Get it where, and as soon as, you find it would be my suggestion.

i only placed it on layaway a few days ago .
but its my intention to have ammo before the gun .
i just haven't looked for any yet .
