I picked AR15, but I was sorely tempted to pick "other" and go with a high capacity semi-automatic rifle in .22LR. After all, a .22 in the brain will stop a zombie. I have it on good authority. "rlol"

MAC10/9 full-auto with lots of 36 rd steel mags. 1200rpm really halts the zombie walk, then shreds the brain (only way to stop a zombie as all you "xxxx of the living dead" fans know!). Really gives "spray and pray" a new meaning. Now if Russian paratroopers were landing a la Red Dawn, I'd say AK variant... (Wolverines!!!) While we're on bad '80's movies...Invasion USA=UZI. For Islamo-Terrorists praying for the destruction of Israel and the establishment of a worldwide Caliphate based on Sharia law w/ HQ in Mecca... M4 and 40mm grenade launcher and R. Lee Ermey and the good ole USMC...

AR15 for me. I'm very comfortable with that platform and the 5.56 cartridge. A few hundred rounds of SS109 would be very easy to carry and I'd likely get multiple zombies with pass-throughs. :reddevil

If I only had one gun to grab, I think I'd take my M1A in .308.......Not limited to one, I'd take 1911, AR, AK, 10/22, and a shotgun and any thing else I have ammo for.

I voted for AR-15 but now I'm rethinking my choice.... if I got my hands on a minigun.

I mean, in the case of a zombie apocalypse you really don't want to spare any expense, you know. ;-)

I have all but the crossbow to choose from and I almost voted for the AR, but, after thinking about it a bit, I figured I could do more damage to a Zombie at close range with the 12ga and that is what I settled on.

There is never enough ammo for a zombie invasion. Claymore or machete is best. With Zombies Unless you destroy the mellon they keep on comming.

I chose other b/c I really like my AK and it just runs and runs. Its also very light weight and can be fitted with a folding stock. All the 5.56 ammo will be long gone so I think finding ammo for an AK will be a little easier. I also think it is accurate enough for some medium distance shots. The drum mags are great but I'm pretty darn quick with a reload on my regular mags. I also have an ACE stock with a meat tenderizer on the end for a good club.

I voted other because I will use any and all of the listed items plus whatever I get after the zombies eat the guy whacking him with a golf club. :biggrinjester:
