As I mentioned earlier the 30 is the way to go. You'll have mag compatability. Plus it's not that much wider than a 26 or 27. Just put some Trijicons or Big Dots on it and you'll be good to go.

I will apparently be the only voice for the G36. I have always struggled with the Glock grip angle (Sig shooter), but the G36 with its thinline frame feels amazing in my hand. I carry mine every day with a 7 round mag and a 6 in my pocket, essentially the same load out as a 1911. This is absolutely a case where you need to try them out first. I spent range time with the G30, G30sf and G36 before making my choice.

Re: Glock 30 or 36 for Concealed Carry?
Before final decisions are made try the a fore mentioned Glock 30 SF. The SF is a slimmed-down frame. I handled both and the SF really feels more like my Glock 19 (though not the same).
Additionally the G36 is a fabulous weapon, especially with 7 round mag +1 (as many as a full-size 1911). And that thing is FAST. Fast into action and fast shooting. Could be the double spring??? I've done some point shooting with the G36 and it is a natural pointer for me.

Went to Gander Mountain on the way home, got all excited, then found out that the Glock 30 they had was the hideous multi-colored one and not the basis black one. I know that sounds superficial, but I will wait until they get the all black one.
