Go back and read the first page or two of this thread , those were "sale" prices .
This thread should be changed to..Ammo for sale.

I've been calling the Walmart nearest my office 2-3 times a week for the last month. Today they actually had .380. In the 15 minutes it took me to get from my house to the counter, it was already gone.gir wrote:I also managed a couple boxes of Winchester .380 from Academy in McKinney by spending a couple weeks calling every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning--$20 a box.

It's not the Walmart way. I was pretty hacked to find it was gone, but to be honest I would cleaned the shelf had the situation been reversed.Oldgringo wrote:Backslider wrote:I've been calling the Walmart nearest my office 2-3 times a week for the last month. The guy at the gun counter at the Academy in McKinney was kind enough to hold a couple boxes for me while I drove over from Frisco. I don't know if they'll do that as a rule but he was pretty cool about it. I can't remember what his name was and he was gone by the time I got there. However, my two boxes were sitting behind the register with my name on them.Oldgringo wrote:Backslider wrote:
