After a few teething problems in the first 100 rounds, and after putting the Wolff XP springs in it, my Pro CDP II is BY FAR my favorite handgun I've ever had the pleasure to shoot.
If you have a Pro model I highly reccomend the Wolff XP springs, makes all the difference in the world.

Re: shot the kimber
My favorite carry gun is my RIA compact tactical 1911. My favorite handgun to shoot is my Kimber Custom TLE II. Lately though I find myself carrying my Kimber Pro Covert II more and more due to its weight advantage. So far I have not found any type of ammo that any of these three will not function with, although the RIA has had a larger selection fed to it.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?

Re: shot the kimber
My darling wife gave me the o.k. for the Kimber i've been wanting for a long time. Its a pro crimson carry ll . This is the first lazer sight gun i've shot.
I went over to Marksman that day and tried it out ( couldn't wait). I was amazed how much these old hands move around looking at the dot down range-lol.
I did have to adjust the lazer a good bit to get it sighted in. After that it was great.
Fantastic trigger. Just a good feeling gun.
Glad you're enjoying your new Kimber also.
Keep on shootin'

Re: shot the kimber
After plenty of convincing and telling my wife the kimber had always been my dream gun, she gave me the ok also. So i know where you are coming from. The even better thing about it was, me and her made a deal when we got married that. If i got a gun then she got a purse and if we didnt have money for both nobody got either. She didnt even ask for a purse this time. So that made it even better. Congrats on your new gun.vickark wrote:My darling wife gave me the o.k. for the Kimber i've been wanting for a long time.
