My mtac came in for my G27
I ordered a mtac for a G27 with chestnut 1.5 c clips. It took them 8 days from the night I sent my order in until the day it showed up at my door. The website said production time of 8 days and that also they would be closed good friday. They emailed me multiple times keeping me up to date on the status. I am very impressed with comptac(the smarties are a good touch). On top of it all I put my holster while the ole lady was watching tv and I kept asking her if it was noticable or not and she kept looking at me like I was crazy asking if what was noticable, I had to pull up my T SHIRT for her to see I was carrying. I want to thank all you guys for answering the same questions about holsters over and over, I now only had to buy one holster so i get to buy more ammo now.
Thank You, Travis

Re: My mtac came in for my G27
I ordered mine on 3/26. Like yours, the website quoted 8 working days. I checked today and it is still in production. Today is day 9, so it should ship soon. I was hoping to have it before the weekend, but I think I'm giving up on that.
Im glad you like yours.

Yup, I ordered mine on 3-28 and it was "In Production" on 3-30...no update e-mails yet. I too was informed about them taking Good Friday off.
What day did you place your order?Travis wrote:I ordered a mtac for a G27 with chestnut 1.5 c clips. It took them 8 days from the night I sent my order in until the day it showed up at my door.

I ordered mine on the 31st. Maybe they started from the top of the email list or didn't have your clips or something. Good luck guys I've been wearing mine all day at the factory setting. I want to do that for a week or so that way I don't have to move it but one time to get it where I want it. It's really pretty comfortable where they have it at least for my size and weight. 6'4 230

Well, if that's the case I should be one day behind you. Maybe I'll get an update on Monday.Tregs wrote:They sent me an update today saying that mine would ship this afternoon. 10 days.

Good luck to both of you. After my "we will be shipping it to you email" it took just a couple days. One more thing to hound the mailman about. What kind of clips did yall get?

Re: My mtac came in for my G27
Let me know how those work, I'm interested in getting a velcro belt. My chestnut c clips don't match my belt or pants. Not like it's a big deal because my shirt covers it, but I think it's time to look at comp-tac and 5.11 for ideas on belts. My only problem is I'm fond of having the leather belt with the dual holes all the way around it. It's not just a belt it's a oil filter wrench, dog leash, etc. I would like to find a good durable gun belt like that with velcro (really it doesn't have to have the holes all the way around it I just need a good belt). If anyone knows of a good leather gun belt I'm interested in getting one not just for the mtac but I would like to carry a couple magazines at the 9 o'clock position. I'm sure once I search the forum I'll find al sorts of stuff about good belts. But if either one of yall have an idea on one I would atleast like a starting point

I got the Comp-Tac belt because as far as I know, it's the only one where you can order BOTH kydex reinforcement AND Velcro. (All other brands offer "either/OR" .) Plus, it's already "contoured" where some others are not.
My dad made boots and saddles etc with Willie Lusk back in the 1940s at Browns in Lubbock, I've made belts starting about 1969-ish/1970s, always made my own belts too, really hesitated to buy one and actually spend my own money when I have a room of tools and boxes of leather, but I'll admit that the Comp-tac belt I got is better quality than any I ever made.
Ok, now the real reason is I like Comp-Tac because:
1) Smarties are Vegan
2) Smarties are healthier for me than Cherry lifesavers.

Re: My mtac came in for my G27
It arrived yesterday. I'm sure it's a great holster, but I'm used to carrying OWB so this will take some getting used to. I tried several adjustments and found one that I think will work at 4:30.
I need to mess with the retention.
Anyway medicman, mine arrived and in perfect shape. The craftsmanship is excellent. Now I just need to work our a few adjustments and break it in.
Yours should arrive within the next few days.

Mine went to the PO last night and was processed this morning accoring to the tracking number info. I figure I should have it no later than Saturday....fingers crossed.

They probably took your holster at the same time my clips were taken then.MedicMan218 wrote:Mine went to the PO last night and was processed this morning accoring to the tracking number info. I figure I should have it no later than Saturday....fingers crossed.
