Tuckable is a Good Option - Even with drawbacks.

I think IWB is the way to go since you can avoid the gun vest or almost as bad unbottoned shirt. Once you go IWB, if you get a tuckable, you can have it both ways--tucked and just covered. I have the CTAC from Comp-Tac with the velcro clips and I love it. I tuck with it when I dress nice and I let a shirt hang over when I'm casual. I use the same rig when I compete IDPA and IPSC. It was the second holster I ever bought (after a cheap Fobus) and I've never needed another.

I agree with your article completely. I wear a C-Tac almost every day and most days I have an untucked shirt covering it. But on more formal occasions I have the tuckable option. I love having that option and really feel for me the advantages of IWB outweigh the disadvantages.

I looked at Crossbreed but I knew the extra cost would be made up for in quality. Love the Answer.

I looked at the crossbreed as well, and now there is a tucker answer holding my 1911 as we speak.

Looking at the pictures on their website, and looking at my answer, there is no comparison in quality. The Answer is on an entirely different plane in my opinion.

I can't afford a drawer of holsters, but I could afford one high quality holster.
