Yes, it exists, but that pic is from the factory. Supposed to be released next month.

Ok... I'm letting you know what I have seen (on GlockTalk) - in regards to the 4th Gen Glock 19:

http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthr ... ?t=1239605" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It appears that a few are out for sale. I don't know who this guy is or his reputation. This is just an FYI for those who were interested in them earlier.

It's a shame the new ones still have the silly finger grooves. I guess there's no Gen 4 in my future.

I prefer the non-grooved guns too. The 22 & 27 were usable, but I had to dremmil my 23 because the grooves hit me in just the wrong way. At some point, I'll likely get a 19 for all-around use so I might end up doing it again. Of course, I could just get a 26 :mrgreen:

austinrealtor wrote:Just FYI and take it for what it's worth, but I heard a Glock Armorer saying that Glock is having problems with the double recoil spring set up on the Gen 4 models. Some of them are breaking and having to be replaced? Too much pressure from the larger spring?

Again, just passing this along this information third hand from a single source. So grain of sale and all that.
You are the 2nd person I've heard this from. I have a friend that has a security company and he had one for about a month testing it and he got rid of it for the same reason.

I wonder if one of the older recoil spring assemblies will work in it? If so it could be an easy fix. He said it did shoot very well and recoil was almost zero, but he needs a weapon he can trust his and his client's life with and he did not have confidence in that weapon.
