Beretta Gallery - Only 6 exist. 1's in Dallas/Highland Park.
Recently I was browsing through a copy of "Garden and Gun" magazine.
Their website is http://www.gardenandgun.com if you are curious.
What caught my eye was 2 consecutive pages that had ads for the Beretta
Gallery. Beretta runs only 6 retail stores in the world.
Milan, Italy
Paris, France
London, England
Buenos Aires, Argentina
NYC
Highland Park, TX (the Park cities are Highland Park and University Park,
which are basically surrounded by the City of Dallas, TX.They are exclusive,
expensive towns.)
The photos of the NYC and Texas stores show a high end store filled with
shotguns and handguns in expensive display cases. Very chi-chi.
If you're looking for a PX4 Storm, you'd probably want to avoid this place,
since it looks like you'd pay top dollar in this upper income area.
For anyone in DFW that would be interested in visiting this 1/6 of Beretta's
worldwide retail empire, it's at 41 Highland Park Village, Dallas, TX 75205.

I want another CX4 but I want a deal on it, so I guess I'll stay away...

I had never heard of "Garden and Guns" until a few months ago, sitting in the exam room at my doc's office. There it was, sitting in the magazine rack...grabbed a copy and read a bit, pretty neat mag. Definitely aimed at the higher echelon of the gun-owning society...discussed it with the doc, said it started showing up awhile ago, I mentioned that he definitely fit the readership profile/demographics. So now we always have a good firearms chat whenever I go for a checkup.

Garden and Guns will not accept advertising from the NRA because they are "too political" - not even ads having nothing to do with politics, like fundraising for youth camps for hunter training, etc. NRA had a blurb about this in the last issue of American Rifleman.PUCKER wrote:I had never heard of "Garden and Guns" until a few months ago, sitting in the exam room at my doc's office. They sound like a bunch of rich elitists who don't think the common man should be too "political" about supporting their RKBA. To hades with them. At first, my wife was interested in this publication because she is all about gardens and cooking, and she's a shooter. When I showed her the American Rifleman piece, she rapidly lost interest in anything that Garden and Guns (for wealthy elitists) had to say.

Cell phone pic of Academy's price time stamped the same day, when I bought my mom's PX4. They have matched prices on other Beretta's I have purchased as well. Staff is professional and the gunsmith is great too. Now that I live in Colorado I can't buy guns there anymore

Thought I'd give a plug for great store, I really like it, yeah it's a little high falutin' but worth the trip to see the neat double rifles and shotguns some of which are over 60k in price. They also have a good stock of the 'normal' Berettas and even some Benelli products too.

Berretta wasn't always so exclusive. We sold their line of shotguns and pistols at "Globe Discount City" back in the 60's and 70's. I bought a 12 ga Silver Snipe O/U that patterned 18" high on the bottom barrel and the same distance low on the top at 30 yards. My skeet shooting went from pretty good with my Win 1200 pump to dreadful until I realized what the problem was. No way to align the barrels due to their mono block design so I sold it and bought a Daly, which we also sold at the stores. Muy Bueno. The Annoyed Man wrote:Garden and Guns will not accept advertising from the NRA because they are "too political" - not even ads having nothing to do with politics, like fundraising for youth camps for hunter training, etc. NRA had a blurb about this in the last issue of American Rifleman.PUCKER wrote:I had never heard of "Garden and Guns" until a few months ago, sitting in the exam room at my doc's office. They sell Sako and Tikkas, and believe it or not they were on sale at that store. They called their precises Clearance. Any discount on a Sakko or Tikka (almost as good as gunbroker deals.
It is a nice little store to visit and ask for firearms on Clearance

I have a friend who purchased his handgun there and was very pleased with the staff and price.

Finding out from several of you that you can actually
buy a gun at the Beretta Gallery for a good price is encouraging - not what
I speculated upon in my initial opening of this thread.
TAM - Thank you for sharing about the "no NRA" philosophy at
Garden and Gun magazine. It's pretty ironic that a mag that has
"gun" in its name should be anti-NRA.
Who do they think has been fighting the fight for our RKBA, anyway, all these years??
I'll still read it if it crosses my path, but I don't like their policy.
