Looking For Front Strap Checkering

#1

Post by charleyenglish »

Hello, I have a Springfield Armory Ultra Compact 45. I would like to get Front Strap Checkering added. As well i would like to add night sites to this gun. Any suggestions where I can get this done?

Go to your local hardware store and buy a short 2" wide strip of non-skid stair tread tape and cut to fit. You'll be amazed at the improved feel. I've added it to the front and rear straps of all my semi's as/where needed. $2.00!

If you don't like it, then go pay the cost of the gun to have an artiste engrave the straps for you.

Can't say enough good things about Springfield's custom shop. I had them install the Novak low mount night sights on my GI Champion. It was actually cheaper than sending it to Novak. They re-parkerized it and it came back looking better than it has ever looked.
