Unfortunatly CTD retail store is on my way home from work.

I always go by on Thursday to see what they have one sale.
They have some pretty salty deals every once in a while.
for example (from memory)

CD HPs for $299, then later for $319
S&W M10s well used for $189.95
Oly AR15s for $599
WASR AKs for $349
SKS Yugos for $99.95, later $149.95
Mosin Nagants for $69.95 (currently)
Berretta Tomcat .22 for $219 (currently)

I just wish they would cultivate a better selection of used pistols.

This might be my first time to revive a thread this old.

Does anyone know what the warehouse letters indicate? The item I'm interested in is in warehouse C, but there are many others.

All it says on the site is:
We give you the option to choose the price you want to pay for the product and the warehouse you want the product to ship from. Each warehouse has multiple products with unique pricing. The truck symbol represents the warehouse the product is shipping from.

They say they have warehouses across the US but don't say where they're at.

I've been digging around and think that warehouse A is the store in Fort Worth. Warehouse B is somewhere in Louisiana and warehouse C is somewhere else in Texas. Haven't found anything about other warehouses yet.

You are correct, sir! I asked them on the phone once.

I was at the store in McKinney today and this is one of the questions I forgot to ask. I still can't remember what the other one's are, but I think there were at least two more.

You should definitely pay attention to the warehouses. I've seen the exact same product for $10 less from a different warehouse.

But on the website it says:
Question: Do you have a retail store in Fort Worth, Texas? Answer: Cheaperthandirt.com is a catalog company and online retailer only. CTD Outdoor Adventures is a separate company with a retail store located in North Fort Worth, Texas. CTD Outdoor Adventures carries many of the same products (those products where the part number starts with a letter) as Cheaperthandirt.com.

Oh, it get's even better. I e-mailed a question to the website about the warehouses and was told that warehouse C is in Grand Prairie and that everything, no matter which warehouse it came from had to come to the FW store to be logged into their bound book. I asked if I could just pick it up there since that store was closer to my work than the McKinney store is to my house. She said, "No. The Fort Worth store is not affiliated with Cheaper than dirt .com and they did not do transfers." I then asked if they sell firearms at the FW store and she replied that they did.

I'm guessing she had enough after my next two questions. If you're not affiliated with CTD.com then why do sales from their website have to go through your store? And, if you sell firearms, isn't that a transfer from you to the customer? She never did answer either question. I never heard back from her. I'm starting to be thankful I didn't get that BCM EAG from them after all.

And on that note, if you go to cheaperthandirt.net rather than .com, you will see almost the exact same website, but without the guns and ammo.

I have gone a few rounds with them on this also. The store in FW doesn't have anything to do with the catalog company...but they lease out counter space to the catalog company so you can pick up catalog orders there. 2 separate business tho. Also, they will honor catalog prices on firearms, but only if they have that exact gun in stock + $25. They said that if I wanted to order a gun at the catalog price I'd have to drive to McKinney.

I think at one time they were one in the same, but I"m guessing a falling out occurred and alas we have what we have now.
