My turnaround time was supposed to be two weeks and like you I wasn't happy doing without the newest member of the family for a while.
So two weeks passes by and my wife and I are having dinner at a restaurant and I get a phone call from a gun shop in Anchorage, Alaska informing me they have my repaired P238

a) they send it back to Sig in New Hampshire, Sig sends it to me
b) I pay the Anchorage LGS a $50 FFL fee and they send it to my LGS
As much as it hurt, I chose option a and resigned myself to waiting another week. I called Sig asap and told them what happened and they were a bit shocked and were going to throw me a bone for all of the hassle - I was either going to get extra magazines or a Sig trigger guard laser for free. Finally the 238 showed up and in the box was a laser. Thanks Sig!
