It looks like I'll be carryiong the 686 for primary carry loaded with .357 Gold Dot, and I'll have my new Smith 642 for pocket carry, loaded with +P. I'm a happy guy, and my life will now rely on wheel guns!!!

Nope, not yet. 99.9% revolver. Carried the Smith 908 9mm one day a few weeks back just because I could. Isn't freedom great?!longtooth wrote:That is an excellent carry rig. I like my revolver for carry too & JLaw is exclusively wheel carry unless he has changed lately. That was a great find. Congrats.
Congratulations. There's nothing like finding a more confortableBoneDigger wrote:I have been carrying my PT145 in a fobus paddle holster. However, I recently picked up a Smith 686 with a 2.5 inch barrel and have been considering carrying it. Well, I ran into a good deal on a Milt Sparks IWB called the #1 Heritage. Holy COW!!!!!! I never knew IWB could be this comfortable.
I know alot of pistol fans will howl, but wheel guns are the way to go!

I'm hardly slim, and never have a problem with it shifting. There'stfrazier wrote:I'd be constantly checking to see if it was still there. I can't keep my shirt tail from riding up my back even when I have suspenders on! I'd end up leaving my weapon in someone's seat cushions for sure...![]()
But maybe it works for you slim guys.
