Hello to all. Just joined the forum today and look forward to the excellent exchange of information.
I am 72 yoa married for 54 years (to same woman).
Retired from public safety job after 28 years. Have been retired 14 years and wish to go through my second childhood. Getting back into reloading after many idle years. I use Dillons first model progressive (RL-1000) for volume work and Rock Chucker single stage for all else.
My wife and I plus several more are taking the CHL test in a couple of weeks.
My question of the day is concerning changes to the Texas laws. I have not been able to find anything online to answer my question.
If one qualifies with a revolver are you still limited to carry only a revolver but if qualified with an automatic you may carry which ever you choose. Has this changed or is it still the same as always.
I find that many women (not all) struggle to handle a large automatic. My wife and her friend just don't have the strength in their hands to rack the slide of large automatic pistols plus the jamming problem associated with a weak grip.
