Re: Introduce yourself
Guess ill intro as well.
32 & my name is Tim
Married with 3 sometimes great kids
I work for a major HVAC manufacture (14yrs now) doing heavy commercial & industrial HVAC. I specialize in electronics (nobody else wanted too)& work on up to medium voltage VFD's(I love that work)
Native Texan (DFW area)& really wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
My hobbies are off-roading in my Jeep with my friends, metalworking , woodworking, guns of course (although I only have 5 so far with the intention of buying & building more) I love working with my hands building things & fixing things.
Received my CHL yesterday after piddling around with the idea for a year or 2. Glad I have it now & intend on carrying as much as possible but am restricted due to my work to carry at work. I enjoy this forum.

I'm 66 years old and have been shooting for 58 years. I find myself shooting fewer guns more and getting real enjoyment out of it.

Re: Introduce yourself
Lurked for a while, figured I would sign up.
I am 38 years old and live in East Texas near Hemphill. I have worked on oil rigs for the last 19 years, the last 10 of which have been overseas. Worked in Nigeria, Middle East, China, and am currently in South Korea.
I have been addicted to firearms since I was a wee lad, and have had a CHL since I turned 21. In the beginning I carried most of the time, but not always. I have changed my thought process over the years, and now I put on a holster and weapon each morning when I put on my pants, and remove the weapon when I get undressed to go to bed. If I am awake I am armed.
For years I carried a .45 ACP. Started with a Colt Defender, then carried a H&K 45C for a while. Recently my thought process has changed and I am currently carrying a Glock 31 in 357 sig.
When not shooting or reloading, I enjoy offroad vehicles and night hunting. I have a 2013 Jeep JK that I like to tinker with. At night I try to thin out the local wild hog population, using night vision and thermal. My favorite hog weapon is a 8" barrel AR in .300 BLK, running a 762SDN-6 suppressor.

Equality, rightly understood as our founding fathers understood it, leads to liberty and to the emancipation of creative differences; wrongly understood, as it has been so tragically in our time, it leads first to conformity and then to despotism. Barry Goldwater
