there is a local gun shop in Texas City that sells good, clean rounds for 150 bucks a thousand. I have not fired any of this stuff, but I trust the seller and will not hesitate to purchase it when I have the need for more ammo. :wink:

That would be T's Ammo in Texas City a good place not only for reloads, but they also have good prices on reloading supplies.

I went to Sports Authority this AM and found the best deal on 9mm @ 8.99 per 100rds on the Win White Box.

However, their price wasn't that great on the 40S&W and .45 ACP stuff, which came out to around the same everyday price Wal Mart has it for.

So, it looks like different Sports Auth/Oshmans have different prices on the same stock. Unusual, but not surprising. Both people I dealt with at the store - the guy behind the gun counter and the check out lady did not have a clue as to how to do their jobs or what was going on.
