I am sometimes caught up in ancient definitions, and remember when tactical meant 3 Mags with maybe a bayonet. I guess I am unkewl also but I agree that the idea of flashlights and scopes on an AK is like putting lipstick on a pig. And while putting scopes and flashlights on an AR is going overboard. I sure wouldn't mind having one with an M203.troglodyte wrote:I guess I just got a mental picture of the way "tactical" is used a lot today. Rails with lights, scopes, expresso machines, shamwows all hanging off the firearm a'la Gecko 45.Liberty wrote: It was originally designed to be a tactical weapon, wasn't it?
No offense intended, just a humorous mental picture.
