As many have said this Forum is a great source of information and friendship! I was turned on to this Forum by user Wildscar whom I have known my whole life. He also got me to get my first Firearm (after he got his) and apply for my CHL (in waiting).

I am 32 years young
born/raised/live in East Dallas
Work for Dallas Harley Davidson
Own a Smith-Wesson MP40 (Minotaur MTAC Holster + Double Mag Holster)
I figured an IWB holster would be better on the Harley in case my shirt flys up while on the road
Also own a Maadi factory AK47 (pre-ban) love it (only been able to shoot it twice)
I love the DAPS IDPA matches, great, fun group (always learning and wish I could go more than I am able)

Hello all-

I suppose I should have done this as my first post - I apologize for not doing so.

Age: 37
Gender: Male
Profession/school status: social media/"knowledge" worker
Marital status: Not married
Years CHL: workin' on it.

I live in Elgin TX. I like motorcycles just as much as I like firearms. I hope I can contribute thoughtfully to this great forum.

My name is Michael, most of my friends call me Morgan...long story, I answer to either. I used to have an FFL but kind of gave up shooting for a few years. Recently got back into it, and am re-acquiring my CHL. I had one in North Dakota when I lived there in the 90s. I'm into motorcycles, guns, medieval history, contact martial arts, yoga... a few other things. Glad to be here.

I've been browsing for a short time, figured I'd register..

The basic's
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Location: Amarillo
Profession/school status: Transport Refrigeration Tech/Diesel Mechanic
Marital status: Single
Years CHL: 0
Carry guns/equipment: Many, although for my first carry weapon I picked up a Kimber Stainless Ultra Carry 2 .45 today, haven't even had a chance to fire it yet  Also own a S&W .41 Revolver, it's to bulky for my body size to carry. Thats is for handguns, rifles, I have 2 safe's full, guess you could say I have a few.

I havent even taken the CHL course yet, although I've wanted to for many yrs, ever since I turned 21.. I have many reason's why, too many times I've been in a situation where I wished I had a handgun on me. Those stories are better left for another post.. Once I get some trigger time with the new rig, change the sights ( dont like them at all ), recover from the cost a bit, I'll be signing up.. My dad, several friends and I are going to take it together..

I guess I'm no longer an owner of an XD9, traded it over the weekend for a Glock 26 to have something more easily concealable.
