If you're like me, the editorializing--at least not all of it--in the video isn't something I'd like to show. I think the audio by itself, with no accompaniment, might actually be more powerful in a classroom. And of course, depending on the setup you have available, you can burn the audio to CD to play on a portable boom-box and not have to rely on PC speakers.

I captured the 911 call only and converted it to .WMA (common Windows media format) and .MP3 formats. You can right-click on the links below, then select "Save Target As" to download the files:

p.s. For the life of me, I can't think of anyone that makes a three shot gun...

The plug was in. IIRC, Winchester did make a couple of wingshooting-specific guns that would only hold 3, but to comply with the 3-shot limit for migratory game birds, pretty much every tube-mag gun comes with a plug to limit it to 2 in the mag and one in the chamber. Either hubby hunts birds, or he just didn't bother to take it out.

I have no idea where the plug for my Mossberg is. Since I didn't bother with the duck stamp this year, it's kinda irrelevant: there's no capacity limit for burglars or feral hogs.

Nearly, but if I find a feral hog in the house, it's going to look like the set for the next "Saw" movie. That's a definite "shoot 'til it drops, then get a bigger gun and keep shooting until you know it will never even twitch again" situation.

If this doesn't spell it out enough, nothing ever will. It's gut wrenching and I think every CHL holder and gun owner should listen to it. Didn't see this posted anywhere so forgive me if it's a double post.

I heard this before. Very chilling to me. Hearing the woman's voice and what was taking place I could not help but put myself in her place. Im glad she was able to defend herself. Im a huge supporter of law enforcement but even with places with fast response times.... most of the time they just cant get there fast enough. Good thing she had the means to protect herself.
