Gun identification

If you were writing a book would you say "It looked like an H&K MP5K full-auto submachine gun pistol" or some other variation? Thanks for any and all input.

Depends on if your the character describing what he saw or the omnipotent writer who is telling the story.

But I’m no expert as I’m not foolishly trying to write a book or anything and listening to Dan Brown audio books trying to understand how he writes so well. Dan apparently is anti gun.

Hang on just a bit. I'll email the ultimate firearms authority and ask her for the real scoop. Sheila Jackson Lee evidently knows all there is to know about firearms of any and every kind. Boy, am I glad she's running for mayor of Houston.
