Space shuttle @ 7:08

Sorry for the short notice but if you've never seen it then at 7:08 tonite in the southern horizon you should get a great view of the space shuttle goin home to Florida.

Travel is from the NW to the SE at about 30 to 45 degrees up.
Take a look you will not forget it!

Start watchin about 7:00 but do not forget it can run a couple of minutes late.

The pass time is correct, but they shuttle and space station are still docked. Both together should be a really bright pass. :smile: Pass time over Dallas is 19:06 CDT

Just got to your post at 7:06pm! Rushed out to see it going overhead, didn't have time to get the binocs out. :cry:

Take a look at http://www.heavens-above.com/

You can enter your specific location and it will generate customized viewing data for ISS passes, Iridium flares, etc.

(I don't think it's accurate for shuttle missions, since they're subject to change . . .)

I've seen a couple of night shuttle re-entries over TX, and they're a LOT more spectacular than any "natural" event I've seen . . .

I saw it last night just before they linked up. Space Shuttle was about 3-5 minutes in front of the ISS.

On Thur Oct 25 at 7:07pm a nice long look for 5 minutes coming from NW to SE at 73 degrees in Houston area. It really is cool to see.
