OK, I've had several combat handgun courses and have never heard or should I say remember hearing condition 1, 2, 3 etc? I searched for condition 1 and got back websters. Can someone point me to where that info is.
Want to make sure my terminology and habits are correct for this board?
Like I call my carry cocked and locked for my colt defender.
Thanks
Condition 1

It is also included in the Wikipedia article about Colonel Jeff Cooper. It is under the section "The Modern Technique".

Re: Condition 1
Nothing wrong with that. its accurate descriptive, and not subject to misinterpretation and saying what you mean.txbroker wrote: Like I call my carry cocked and locked for my colt defender.
