Condition 1

#1

Post by txbroker »

OK, I've had several combat handgun courses and have never heard or should I say remember hearing condition 1, 2, 3 etc? I searched for condition 1 and got back websters. Can someone point me to where that info is.

Want to make sure my terminology and habits are correct for this board?

Like I call my carry cocked and locked for my colt defender.

Thanks

It is also included in the Wikipedia article about Colonel Jeff Cooper. It is under the section "The Modern Technique".

Nothing wrong with that. its accurate descriptive, and not subject to misinterpretation and saying what you mean.
