This is not a good thing.
"Davis and Vilchez had valid permits to carry a concealed weapon."

It is not a good thing.......

but....

One guy is charged with aggravated assault and no other charges for the other. I am willing to bet the guy in the van that sped up and then ended up rear ending the other guy is the one that is charged.

If someone rear ends me and then starts shooting, you can be sure I will be returning fire!

Orange County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Louis A. Davis, 40, and Victor Vilchez, 44, reports show. Davis was taking his daughters, ages 6 and 11, to school when he started firing at Vilchez. No one was injured in the shooting that ended a few blocks from Chickasaw Elementary School....

Sheriff's reports show that deputies recovered a 45 calibre Taurus semi-automatic and a 38 calibre Keltec automatic. Davis and Vilchez had valid permits to carry a concealed weapon...
Just absolutely wonderful. Brilliant move, guys. Brilliant.

Deputies called the high-speed chase and shootout "unbelievable."

This about sums it up.

Some folks should not carry weapons. If you anger easily...and you know it, please take a moment to consider whether or not is wise for you to carry a firearm.

Ridiculous! :???:

The guy that got rear ended could have slammed on his brakes once he passed the other driver. In the past when someone is tailgating me I like to slam on the brakes for a second or two. I guess I will not do that anymore.

The article says that Davis, in the white Honda was rear-ended, then was the first to fire on the van that Vilchez was driving. Vilchez then returned Davis's fire.

My bet is that Davis, the guy who was transporting two young daughters when he decided to shoot at the guy who rear-ended him, is the one pictured and the one up on charges.

This is simply Stupid with a capital "s"; a great example for the children; and about as mature as a middle-school playground fist-fight.

The current elections are not a good time for this to happen.

I would do anything to protect my family, but that idiot opened fire with his 2 daughters in the car, then dropped them off and continued the attack,I hope he likes prison
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them
