It's good they were denied for the reasons stated in the article and also refreshing to see some of the comments left afterwards actually denounced the blatant tactics of the brady campaign for attempting to spin the tragic loss for their own gain. I hope pro RKBA keeps out of the arena. Judging from brady venom, their poor taste and bad timing, and profound stupidity, they can dig their own political grave. We are bigger and better than these carrion fowl.

Thank goodness!

Many people had respectfully asked Abby Spangler of Protesteasyguns to NOT hold the lie-in during the day of mourning. She didn't listen, and I'm just glad VT stepped in to prevent this explotation of a tragedy.

If you give them enough rope they hang themselves, everybody can see the brady's don't give a rats behind about the mourning familys as long as it gives them a platform to try to push their own agenda
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them

The article says the group is protesting so Congress will make it a requirement that a background check should be done at gun shows, what a great idea, everyone who has a FFL should be required to comply with a law that requires a NCIC check or the purchaser have a CHL. Maybe that is not a bad idea. Wait a minute, that sounds vaguely famaliar... :thumbs2:

I think it just goes to show the confusion many folks have about the allegeged loop holes.
