So, what did you score on at Market Hall?
I walked out with a Glock 21SF, 500 rounds 223 ammo, 500 rounds 10mm ammo, 3 more AR15 PMags, and a couple of other AR accessories.
A few Glocks, a few Kahrs, Dan Wesson CBOB 10mm, Dan Wesson CBOB 45ACP, Springer Champion Operator

Re: So, what did you score on at Market Hall?
All I picked up was a mount for my Surefire e2e, and 2 boxes of Silver Bear .223 HP (assigned myself a $60 budget including admission). The primary reason I went was to help a friend of mine purchase his first gun, but unfortunately he could not commit to spending the money so he left empty handed.
I am picking up a Colt MK IV this week for $500, so my money was already pre-spent.

I picked up a Galco speed slide holster for my Walther PPS. Had to buy a model for the a Glock but it fits the Walther very nicely.
God Bless Texas!

Glock 17 factory hicap mag
Book on building ar-15s
ar-15 lower mag block
infidel t-shirt
only took 60$ as well. Wish I had taken more, but if I had I would have spent it all.

Primers, powder and bullets...and a few old coins. All in all, was kind of dissapointed. I thought there were a lot better deals at the Big Town show.

Re: So, what did you score on at Market Hall?
' Been looking at that show for at least the past year for some of the Gold Dot actually labeled "Short Barrel" ammo in 9mm, .38+P and/or .357. One dealer this time had some in 9mm+P so I picked up two boxes at $21.00 per 20. (Yeah, ouch!) I'm semi-anxious to set up chronograph and see how it compares to the same weight (124g) I've used in PM-9 for quite some time. (1,041 fps)
Also got another box of CCI .22 Mini-Mag as that's all I've found my favorite Marlins runs with 100 per cent of the time.
And, to bust $100 on Saturday, another packet of 9mm and .38 snap caps for training purposes.
I looked at a bunch of other "wants" on Sunday, but had vowed to keep my hands - and money - in my pocket all day. Except for food, I'd done it - until right after the show had closed. When talking to an adjacent vendor about his new "pocket holster" for the Kel-Tecs (and the new Ruger knockoffs), he had a cell phone case that I "needed" bad. There went a twenty ... It was at least partially offset though by another adjacent vendor who gave me a big bag of handgun brass that he did not want to have to lug out of there ...

Re: So, what did you score on at Market Hall?
I experienced something unexpected when I tried the Short Barrel .45's in my P45 Kahr.
They averaged 797fps.
My old standby, Hydra-Shok 230's averaged 853fps.
That may not be the whole story, if the SB's expand better at 797 than the Hydra-Shoks at 853.
Still, it was surprising.

I'm jealous, Dave! A .45 is on my wish list. I already have a 9mm and a. 40. Been looking at another Kahr, but decided that one poly gun is enough.davefrmmrfy wrote:Heh, heh!

Took my wife, Sharron to the range last weekend. She can't wait to go back. I may have another student for Paul's CHL class soon.

Nice Springer! That skeletonized hammer looks pretty cool with the rest of the gun. How much may I ask?davefrmmrfy wrote:Heh, heh!

Got the PX9152LP for $877 and the grips for $219. I had to modify the right side ambi-safety lever to clear the laser sight.dukesean wrote:Nice Springer! That skeletonized hammer looks pretty cool with the rest of the gun. How much may I ask?davefrmmrfy wrote:Heh, heh!
