IWB holster with two belt clips

#1

Post by dwsUSA »

Anybody use one of the holsters that has two belt clips such as comp-tac, crossbreed, etc with only one of the belt clips? If so which clip do you use and how does it work for you? It seems like the holster would be less obvious with only one clip (and easier to put on/remove).

2 clips spread the weight out and makes the rig thinner than having it cliped at the center

:iagree: It also increases the stability to have two spread out. I'm wearing a comptac right now, and I can't imagine only using one clip, although technically you can take one off. Imagine it like trying to hang a picture with one nail on an extreme edge. Two nails work better no matter what. And honestly, no one will even notice the clips.

The link to my CompTac review is in my Signature. Take a look when you get a chance.

If you want to reduce the visibility of the belt clips, use the velcro V-clips. They go under the belt (between belt and pants), not over it, so with a little judicious placement and a slight blouse of the shirt, they disappear entirely.

I use the crossbreed, it works awesome...the clips that are stock came with mine, they work very good..even on my motorcycle
