Good and bad afternoon with dad

My dad is looking to get a new carry weapon. He wanted to try a few of mine so i took the G17, G21, PM40, and SW1911sc for him to try.
He has 100 acres in Johnson County so we went out back to shoot at some old sand bags.
Only shot about 20 minutes when the sky opened up and started raining hard. First rain in a month and it had to be tonight. Bummer.

He really liked the G17 though. May have to get him one for his birthday.

If I could only have one gun........well, the G17 would at least be first or second runner up! I trust the gun and find the point of aim is very natural to me. During the evacuation it felt good in my lap.
I hope you do get him one......he will have a blast with it!

The 17 is probably THE best Glock. It's the one that started it all and all other Glocks are based on it.

For concealed I would highly recommend the Glock 19 with a 15 capacity magazine. One in the pipe + 15 more in the mag and your all set. Easier to lug around and conceal that the 17.
Packing...I refuse to be a VICTIM.

I went shooting last Tuesday with Reysc & his Brother in law Leo. They both were shooting G17's. I'm not a big fan of Glocks but I shot the G17 & really liked it. Very accurate and nice easy recoil. My mind was set on the S & W - M & P when they come out with the 357 Mag. I may have to rethink but I'll probably stay with the S & W. That's a definate maybe! :???:
