I am looking at buying this. Is $500 reasonable? It is a private sale from an individual.

Given that you won't pay sales tax, shipping or FFL fee, it's a very fair price; possibly not a really great price, but a very fair one.

I would offer $350-400. If $500, just keep looking for something else.
