Houston shows

#1

Post by Charger »

I havent had a chance to go to the gun shows downtown, at Brown and Reliant. I went to one in Pasadena and was disappointed in that it was just really small. Anyway, I'm on the hunt for holsters and all other things being equal would prefer to hold and feel in person and give some business to a semi local retailer. What is the selection and pricing of leather at these shows? Should I wait until later this summer or fall (Brown and Reliant respectively) or get online? Thanks in advance for the advice.

I haven't noticed any significant presence of holster dealers at the Brown or Reliant shows, but I wasen't looking for a holster either. Pasadena has gone down hill in the past year and I will not be going again.

Brown and Reliant shows are MUCH bigger then Pasadena. That said, I haven't seen a lot in the way of holsters at ANY shows.

:iagree:
when it comes to an important purchase such as a good and not to mention "pricey" holster , i need to see it, feel it ,see how the gun fits it...
...one place you can do this is Collectors Firearms
they have a large selection. different makers.
you can bring in your gun to see how it fits.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll try to make it down to Collectors or Carters to see what they have.
