Got Sig? <<< Poll
I just thought I'd find out what everyone's thoughts were on the GREATEST SIDEARM EVER MADE. Can you tell I'm a little biased. So lets here it. If you own 1, or 2, or 20; or if you've ever owned. What do/did you think about'em. Which 1 if you had to pick would be your fav. What do you dislike about'em(be gentle). Personally for me Sigs sit top shelf and aside from high dollar custom jobs really can't be beat. And above them all would have to be the P220 4.5 inch with 8rnd clip and rail.
P.s If this kinda poll has been done alrdy, well, my bad.

The one that could really tempt me is the p250

Re: Got Sig? <<< Poll
SIGs are OK guns and I might have voted had you listed the 1911 option. Sigs like Glock and H&K are well made and dependable firearms and If i had one of any thrust into my hands in a combat situation I promise I can, and will make good use of them. With all that said my favorite carry gun is the M&P 40 and my favorite range/competition gun is my STI 1911.

Re: Got Sig? <<< Poll
You've got P226 listed twice.
It got my vote. It's got a great trigger pull in both double and single action. In 9 mm it can hold up to 17 rounds in Mecgar magazines. By changing the slide, barrel, recoil spring, and magazine I can reconfigure mine between .22 LR, 9mm, and .357 Sig. If I ever get around to investing in a .40 S&W barrel, I could shoot that through it as well.
Mine's been totally reliable. As big as it is, it can still be readily concealed with the right holster. I've gotten where I seldom carry anything else.

The P250.
It's the only polymer-framed gun that really fits my hand, that I am comfortable shooting. Thus, it's the only polymer-framed pistol I'll carry.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

The only Sig I've had the privilege of shooting is my own 229, so I voted 229. I love it.

Then you should have made the poll about HK's.Crapshoot wrote:I just thought I'd find out what everyone's thoughts were on the GREATEST SIDEARM EVER MADE.
Seriously I think all Sigs are great built guns. I've owned a P220, P229, P239 and a P230 but ended up selling all of them. Sigs, just don't fit me right, the grips are too big and fat for me. For as big as they are you'd think they could make them hold more rounds.

Re: Got Sig? <<< Poll
Since I am as a forum friend calls a "sig snob" I voted for the 220, mine is so accurate it is scarry, and the trigger is the best I have ever felt. With that said I have a 250 that is around 10,000 rounds through it and it never ceases to amaze me how a DAO trigger can be so smooth and have the gun be so accurate. We also own a 2022 and a 238 all of which are fine handguns. I made the mistake of selling the mosquito and will own another one within a week as a low cost plinker. Now if I can just get a 556 in the near future I will be a very happy guy. IMO you cannot go wrong with any Sig, and they hold their value very well.... I got a great laugh for the people who voted that Sig's stink, to each there own, if somebody offered to give me a Glock I would respectfully decline.....

I've owned a 220 and a 228 and they were nice guns but not my preference for carry. De gustibus non disputandum est.

I wouldn't say I'm a "Sig snob", but rather more of a Sig Connoisseur. But if I was lumped in with the "Sig snobs" I can't say I'd complaine.Salty1 wrote:Since I am as a forum friend calls a "sig snob" I voted for the 220, mine is so accurate it is scarry, and the trigger is the best I have ever felt. You must be talking about the Sig GSR series 1911 pistols... ...almost as good as the Kimber 1911s...Crapshoot wrote:I just thought I'd find out what everyone's thoughts were on the GREATEST SIDEARM EVER MADE.
