High Noon Split Decision

Howdy Yall,
To those of yall who have the above holster or something real similar, I have a question. Does it stay in place when rotated side to side? I don't mean sliding along the belt I mean if you keep it in place, can it spin at all? The problem with my current Galco with the giant belt loop is that there is so much play, when I walk (with pistol at 4:00-5:00), my buttock tend to push the barrel up which spins the holster such that only a small corner is actually in my wasteband and it feels like its always on the verge of falling out. I'm trying to avoid this by going with a holster that has a CLIP and not a loose leather strip.

Thanks!

Not as bad as what you describe, but it does wiggle around a bit as any similar holster will do. If you want an IWB holster to lock in nice and tight, get something with two connection points to the belt like a Crossbreed SuperTuck, Comp Tac M-TAC, Tucker The Answer, or other similar designs.

I had the "wiggle" issue with every IWB holster I used until I tried Crossbreed. These included some very nice holsters like Galco Royal Guard/Summer Comfort, Don Hume IWB, and the High Noon designs.

Of course, this problem is more prominent the more, ahem, prominent you are in the hips/gluteous areas

I usually carry AIWB using the the straight drop version of the same design. I think that's the Hidden Ally?

No problems with the holster moving around. I've used it a handful of times at 4:00 without any noticeable tendency to pop out of my waistband (I didn't like the straight drop at 4:00 though. Canted conceals much better for me on the strong side,YMMV. ) The sturdy steel clip hangs well on my 1.5 inch belt.

Hope that's helpful?

I have a Split Decision, Bare Asset, and Down Under and none of them move on me in the way you mean. The clip on the SD and BA are really strong and the Down Under has straps. I wear the SD when I wear a dress belt and it does not spin and is very comfortable.
