Good Cheap Holster

#1

Post by ComeAndTakeIt »

Hey all,

My plastic should be coming in the mail this coming week, however my holster from crossbreed may not arrive for another two weeks.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for a decent cheap IWB holster for a Ruger SR9c I can use in the mean time?

check out shielded holsters.
Here is the only link I know to see what he has

I have ordered a single clip, and I like it.
a double clip costs $50 and is similar to the Crossbreed, which I have as well.

he gets payment via Paypal and it took about a week for my holster to arrive

I don't think I would waste my money on a cheap holster just to use for a week. I would just wait on the one I ordered, since you would probably have to order the interim holster, anyway.

There is always this........ :banghead:

If the State converts a right into a privilege, the citizen can ignore the license and fee and engage in the right with impunity. -- Shuttleworth v. City of Birmingham

Yeah, you're probably right. The duck tape holster seems like a great solution though! If I end up making one I'll let y'all know.

Thanks!

If you are looking for a kydex/leather holster for half the price of a Milt Sparks, look at:

Comfortable, stitched leather. nice fit. Same idea as the Crossbreed but in my experience, and in my opinion, a much nicer holster.

By chance, I carry the same pistol. I found a holster that fits that pistol well and didn't cost me a large sum (about $25 or $30, IIRC). It is made of leather and has a metal clip. The holster is technically for a SIG, but the Ruger fits great. Its a Don Hume, H715 M NO. 30-1. That is for a right-handed person. I also have a leather shoulder rig made for the SIG P228/229 from The Masters Holster that fits this Ruger great, as well. That was a suggestion from another forum member, my apologies that the name escapes me at the moment. Hope this helps. (BTW, I don't mean to step on any toes, many forum members are MUCH more knowledgeable than I am on the subject of holsters...I just put what I have that works for me.)
