Beretta Nano Single Stack 9mm

#1

Post by kal0 »

Saw this link with video regarding the Beretta Nano.
http://www.berettanano.com/

Based on the video it looks like a good option for a small single stack 9mm. I heard this might be available sometime Oct?
I really like the feature of the removable sub-chassis.
Utilizing a removable, serialized sub-chassis the Nano pistol can be easily modified with replaceable grip frames and is simple to disassemble and maintain
In my case, small guns are very very tricky... it sounds great but most of them I cannot shoot well at all ( example LCP in my case :biggrinjester: ) others I have no problems with (PM9)... so I will probably try this and see how well I can shoot it when available :fire

The other one on my list to check is the Kimber Solo... :coolgleamA:

.

Beretta Nano Single Stack 9mm
CALIBER 9 MM
WEIGHT UNLOADED 17.67 oz
OVERALL LENGTH 5.63 "
OVERALL HEIGHT 4.17 "
GRIP WIDTH .90 "
BARREL LENGTH 3.07 "
SIGHT RADIUS 4.92 "
CAPACITY 6+1 Rounds

Keltec P-11

CALIBER 9 MM
Weight unloaded: 14 oz.
Length: 5.6"
Height: 4.3"
Width: 1"
Barrel Length: 3.1"
Sight radius: 4.6"
Capacity: 10 + 1 (Actually with a 12 round mag 12+1)

I know, trigger is vastly different, whole different animal, but my P11 is so darned accurate; and size and weight is close for 13 rounds instead of 7 ...(That said, it's rare I carry the P11 since my Glock 26 is ALSO close in size too, and more options I customized on it.)

Glock 26
Caliber: 9 x 19 mm
Length: 6.29 inch / 160 mm slide
· Height: 4.17 inch
· Width: 1.18 inch
· Barrel Length: 3.46 inch
· 5.67 inch / 144 mm between sights
· Capacity: 10/12/13/15/17/18/19/20/33/34 .... +1 Subject to local laws and regs.
I use Pearce Grip PG-39 (+3 grip extensions) for that finger rest and capacity 13+1 (or 20+1 .... or 18+1)
Yeah; it weighs more Gun Weight: 19.75 oz empty
But with $10.00 Marine/Maritime Spring cups, it's a better under-water gun

RPB beat me to it on the others, but also the "M9" series of Kahr pistols weigh less. Heck, it even looks a lot like a Kahr...............except for..........what's this? A trigger stolen from a Glock?

Were you all able to view the video at the bottom of the page?

The Kel-tec PF9 would be a better comparison as it is also single stack:

Keltec P-11[/b]
CALIBER 9 MM
Weight unloaded: 12.7 oz.
Length: 5.85"
Height: 4.3"
Width: .88"
Barrel Length: 3.1"
Sight radius: ??"
Capacity: 7 + 1
... this space intentionally left blank ...

The Kel-tec PF9 would be a better comparison as it is also single stack:
True, I carry a single stack inside the house and in the yard, if I leave my property, I carry "capacity"
My point was the P11 is roughly the same dimensions, even lighter weight, with increased capacity over the Nano.
But you are correct, with the same capacity, the PF9 is a better comparison
