Allen Gun Show - Dec 3/4

Disappointed.

Went on Sunday.

Maybe it was picked over.
But just not a lot of tables.
And even less inventory.

But it was a gun show!

Was pretty disappointed as well. Plenty of people for sure. I went cuz I needed some small AR15 parts. Didn't see Model1 or SOG so walked out of there with nothing.

May have been due to the fact that there was a show in Mesquite this weekend as well.

Went to both Allen and Mesquite. I like the Mesquite Rodeo venue better than Big Town, but it could use a few more vendors. However, going to Allen reminded me why I said last time "never again." Oops. I recognized most of the gun counter customers at Cabela's from the Allen show. On the plus side at least for the Allen show, was that I got to see my friends at Ammo Biz. They don't usually come this far south, but are going to be at the next Big Town show. Aside from the stupid traffic, not a bad day, and $20 off next trip to Cabela's.

There are getting to be too many Gun Shows and the vendors are trying to guess where the best traffic is going to be. I really like the Allen show, but it was small, I would guess about 1/2 of what it was last time, but a good crowd and people were dealing.

In Mesquite, between Big Town and the Rodeo show it seems there is a show going all the time. The new Lewisville show is nice.

I went, was on way to cabelas and herd on the radio ad that they were giving out 20 dollar coupons at the show so I figured why not

Was a very small show with limited selection and not great prices on the whole, but found a deal on a Springfield range officer and took it home with me
