Quality Daddy - Daughter time

Post by SF18C »

I told my 15 y.o. Daughter she had 10 mins to reassemble and preform a functions check on all 6 guns!

Her comeback was "No Problem."

Then I added "Blindfolded!"

Her reply was then "What do I look like, some kinda SF Weapons chick!" "rlol"

We spent about an hour and half at the local range after having an early morning breakfast at our local diner.

She shot my XDs in .45 with a 230 grain + P hollow point m(my EDC carry ammo)...after two rounds she said, "That's all yours Dad! Where is the 38?" That girl can shoot her weight in .38 and 22LR!!! Yesterday my LGS had 22LR, .45, 5.56 by the case and no limit! 22LR was $5 for 50rds, 5.56 was $9 for 20rd box and .45 $22 for a 20rd box. :thumbs2: Still NO 9MM to be found anywhere in Northern Texas!!!!! :banghead:

We had a great day and I love the fact that my little girl will happily get out of bed at the crack of dawn to spend the morning with her old man to shoot guns! :fire

Break is over...I gotta go put some guns back together!

I can't wait until my 2yo daughter is old enough to shoot. She's already been to the range several times and doesn't mind the noise. She also looks damn cute in the big ear muffs

Nothing better, than slipping quietly downstairs in the early morning hours to head for the blind, and finding 4 children(ages 14, 13, 9, 7)in field clothes and blaze orange hats asleep at the foot of the stairs. I really miss the days we spent together in the outdoors.
Enjoy your time with your daughter, there is nothing more precious.
