Attention Glock Fans!!!!

I was hoping some more experienced glock owners could help me out.... Specifically G26 and G27 owners. I recently bought my first Glock (G26), it was a used G3 with night sights, and 5 total mags including one happy stick (33rd'r)!

Sorry back on track, the two factory 10 rounders both came with +2 extenders on and it printed pretty badly with this. I took one off and put the fact flush bringing back down to 10. It came with a offbrand "crossbreed style" IWB holster which holds the gun fine. however, no matter how much i play with different holes/cant and have moved it from 3 to 6 and it prints like a sore thumb. I also do have a good gunbelt from bullhide belts that holds all my other guns great. i am 5'7 and 180 lbs and have no problems concealing my sig p938 or XDS or Kimber Ultra Carry but for some reason can't hide the Glock!

has there been anyone else with these issues and if so, what did you do to fix it? I do have a Whitehat Maxtuck that I could order a G26 kydex for, but i'm worried it'd do the same thing as the one that came with it  I can't carry OWB because i can't wear long shirts and usually i'm tucked in anyway. if there's no remedy then I guess i'll have it for sale soon which is a shame because i really like it so far other than the printing :banghead:

Can you post a pic of what you are talking about... I wear a G26 in a Kholster with a pinky extension and yes you can some something there but it does not look like a gun at all... more like a cell phone.

I started wearing a shirt that is a size larger than what I usually wear and with that it is pretty much invisible.

The glocks are fat (much more so than the XDs). Depending on body style you may find it easier to hide a full size 1911 than a baby Glock. If I am able to wear long oversized shirts I carry my G23 OWB. If not, I carry my XDs IWB.

I will try and post pics but i'm going out of town this weekend and have alot to get done tonight. I guess my term printing wouldn't be illegal in where you can definitely tell it's a gun, but it's a pretty obvious bulge.....

Unfortunately, you may have to experiment with different holsters/clothing/guns to find something that works for you.

I've carried various glocks (G17, G26, G23) in different IWB and OWB holsters and found that a G23 (same size as G19) in a hybrid holster (Crossbreed or Comp-tac) worked best. Glocks are fat (and ugly) and I find it easier to conceal a single stack 1911 or Browning hipower.

There's got to be a solution for this! Think it out real good. There got to be a hoster & placement that will work
Like jmra sometime you have to wear a bulkier shirt. A friend I grew up with is a federal agent sense he got out of the Air Force. He was Issues a G23 that he has been cocealing with all kinds of clothing. He now has a desk job with the feds. Not shure if he's still carrying.

PS: Whats funny is his salary is posted a a frederal site. He says it's legal??? :headscratch

I have a Glock 23 (.40 compact) that i made allowances for. Yep they are "fat" guns, but its reliable and holds 13 +1. In a .40 cal. I have a Crossbreed Supertuck that i wear at 5:00 location, that helps me also drive in a vehicle where some of the handle is toward the small of my back so the car seat does not press on it.

I am a medium sized guy, that i use large dress shirts not made of 100% cotton (cotton eventually shrinks up) Or a T shirts that are large or even extra large T's, with shorts. The shirt if darker seems to hide the gun "print" better.

Look the glock 23 is not petite pop gun, nor is the 27 or 26 - they are thicker. Wear slightly larger clothes and use good iwb holster at the 5 position - that hides the gun with your body better. It wont print unless you are really stretching forward. I've had the gun as daily carry for about 2 years now - no issues.

I think most of the Glocks are 1.2" width. Not sure about the G30's.

yeah this was my first glock and It doesn't seem like you can change your handle on here once it's made? I don't have the ultra or solo anymore either but i will have another ultra carry in another version eventually. my sig p938 is EDC because it'll hide the best in anything. I'm trying to check out the P224 in 9mm but nobody has them

I'm still trying to figure out the positioning on the glock and it's not looking good because buying new clothes right now isn't an option as well as other holsters.... this one may be on the board for sale before too long. stay tuned....

I carried an M&Pc (about the same thickness, slightly longer grip than G26) in a crossbreed style holster and a single clip kydex holster at about 3:30. It definitely prints more than single stack slim type things. Untucked oversized or tucked but bloused dress shirt covered it, but I was more concscious of it than my slimmer pistols. Have you tried appendix carry? It has a short barrel, so that may be comfortable if you are open to that position.

I'm 5' 8" and my weight goes between 170 and 180 and I have no issues with obvious printing with my Glock 26. I wear medium polos and t-shirts and I feel comfortable that no one will notice. My 1911 CMD conceal well too. I have a review video talking about my Talon grips that clearly show very little printing with a tight shirt. Forward to 2:20 to see how my EDC looks

Thank you all for the suggestions and pennies! I've decided that the glock is a great gun but as far carrying ill stick to the sig and I'm going to start saving for another ultra carry. Ill post it in the classifieds shortly.

Er... your holster is to blame. I carry a Glock 19, which is bigger than your 26/27 and it is fine with no printing at all. I am also thinner than you, too. Just because it looks like a Crossbreed Holster does not make it a Crossbreed Holster. Did you pull out your shirt a tiny bit so that it is a bit puffy where it enters your pants? Or did you stuff your shirt in your pants real tight? Are you wearing the gun at the 4 o' clock position? Or the 3 o' clock position? Take a pic and post it of yourself. You're either doing it wrong or your holster is crappy because it is definitely possible to conceal your Glock. I promise!

Take pic of holster and pic of yourself with gun on you concealed.
