$5,000 to Blow

Say hypothetically you were given $5,000 with the stipulation that you must use it to buy (and keep) one or more firearms. What would you do?

An M1A Supermatch, and an M1A Scout w/ Aimpoint Micro, and a ton of 7.62 NATO ball ammo if there's any money left.

Unfortunately, I'd wake up right about the time I pulled the trigger to realize it was all just a dream.

:iagree: I'd look for a Barrett too. Not picky about new/used, either - I'd troll the auction sites looking for a decent deal.

Glock 34,new sights, some 9mm ammo to shoot, and a nice safe.

A HK pistol like Mitch Rapp used
A 1911
An old Winchester pump 22
A circa 1980 Remington Fieldmaster 22 Pump (my first gun--kick myself for selling it)
A LaRue Tactical AR 15

I'm probably about out of money at this point, but if not, A simple Remingon home defense shotgun and 30-06 rifle would fill the order.

I would buy the nicest Colt Python I could find. If anything were left over, I would put that towards a Colt Anaconda.
