I would like to start a discussion concerning ammo dealers that do not deliver as promised. This is not meant to support or attack any entity, only to get insight into who has good experiences or bad experiences with online ammo dealers. Would anyone care to participate?

There are two so far that have been less than stellar, PrecisionONe and Alamo Ammo. Lucky Gunner did a good job as did Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore.

The one I've dealt with recently that did a great job was LAX ammo.

I always buy online and I can't say I have ever had a negative experience. I usually use bulkammo.com or ammoman, but I have also bought through ableammo, cabelas, and eliteammunition for my 5.7x28. I wait for sales and buy in bulk and I usually get my shipments in 3-4 days. My days of buying ammo a couple of boxes at a time are over so on-line makes more sense to me.

Family friend claims that Ammunition to go is the best online company from Brenham, TX. Ships faster, due to being regional.

Ditto on Ammunitiontogo, I have ordered from them probably 10 times over the last 3 years. Always got my ammo quick, sometimes within 2 days ( I live in Wimberley). There prices may be a bit high, but i'm willing to pay a premium to know I will get my ammo fast.

AmmoToGo and SG ammo in Oklahoma are my go to suppliers. No tax with SG and shipping from just across the state line.

Knock on lead - I haven't had any negative experiences (other than wasting my time looking in WallyWorld.)

Two different Walmart's, but the same results. I waited over thirty minutes at one for the case to be open. They finally did, but at another larger one I waited over twenty minutes and gave up finally. They said they could not find the guy with the key, and he is probably off, since he worked last night. What gives?

http://www.rareammo.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and http://www.targetsportsusa.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; are 2 that I have been using for the last year or two and have never done me wrong nor taken a long time shipping.

Ordered once from fivesevenammo.com. They never delivered but did not charge my credit card either. Never could reach them either. Sgammo.com used to be my favorite but their supply is still pretty thin.

I have ordered over 2,000 rounds of reloaded 9mm from them and have not had a problem. No tax, shipping was reasonable and sometimes you can find a coupon online if you search for it. A couple of weeks ago I received 1000 rounds of 9mm reloads w/ plastic ammo can and with shipping and coupon included, it came to .24 a shot, good for me.

I have also had good results from Georgia Arms for my reloaded .38 +p but I haven't seen any available since the new year.
