San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department has pulled "more than 300 guns that were purchased over the last eight months" and replaced them with "old guns."

It's best they found this at the range rather than on the street.

Pretty strange for Sigs to have a problem like that.

Given that Cohen is still pulling the reins at Sig, it doesn't surprise me. He didn't do Kimber any favors either. If Sig would focus more on QC than coming out with goofy color schemes and gimmicks they'd be better off.

I did not know this. This is very troubling. A CEO with the wrong priorities can lead a good company into the dumps.

It can take a company years to establish a reputation for quality products. It only takes a short time to destroy it.

I love my 226 but it really is a shame that there have been so many issues with modern Sigs. The 250 was a disaster. We can only hope the 320 isn't as bad.

Remington seems to be following a similar trend lately. Their quality has fallen off significantly to the point that many don't even trust the quality of the 870 express line which till recently had had a stellar reputation.

Do a search for "sig sauer p250 problems" you will find a lot of information. Personally, I would not by one.

Do a search for any guns "problems" and you will find a lot of information. I have a Sig 250 that has been retired to a nightstand gun that has over 18,000 rounds through it and it is 100% reliable, I would put it up against any gun out there. The 250's DAO trigger is one of the best on the market and having 2nd strike capability is always a plus. I always wonder why people who have never owned certain guns will trash them, guess they read it on the internet so it has to be true...... did I mention that I am a French model?

Which model were these? There's a first-run 9mm 250 compact in my family that has never had an issue of any kind - but I also had a .40 that was giving me light primer strikes. So there's my conflicting anecdotal evidence to consider. If SJSD had called me and asked I would not have suggested it.
