Has anyone used these bullets from Xtreme? Just wondering how successful or accurate you have gotten them? I am trying them on older Ted Williams model 30/30 and they are all over the place. First loads set up was using H322 and would hit paper but just no kind of group. Then fixed up some loads with BL-C(2) and seem to have gotten worse, with some not even hitting paper. Now granted I'm not a marksman or rag hole shooter all the time but never this bad. The gun with factory rounds shoots pretty good but I can't get it even close with these. I know I'm pushing them more than the 1500 FPS they mention to keep them at on their site but not sure to what cause no chrony. Thinking of loading couple 308 projectiles just too see as I don't have anything else.

Just curious what sort of groups you get with other ammunition specifically factory rounds? Also I assume you've checked the firearm for any problems such as damage to the barrel crown, condition of the rifling, etc. Is this a lever action - Ted Williams (Sears) Model 100; i.e. Model 94 Winchester?

I would reduce the velocity to below 1500fps as they recommend. May be pushing them too fast, they are not jacketed only plated.

yea found some cast load data -- RCBS 30-150-SP 150gr blc-2 28gr 1644fps and RCBS 30-150-FN 148gr Blc-2 28gr 2140fps -- gives me little something to go by -- just didn't want to drop down too low
