Anyone stay up and watch...

Inside 9-11???

Thats that National Geographic special they produced recently, but not recently enough to include the "Able Danger" information...

Which may be added as a post production excerpt after tonights conclusion...

I find this information compelling and a good reminder of the information and timeline leading up to that day...

I do not need a reminder so much, but as a check to make sure we are not attempting to re-write history and difuse a few other things that are going on right now...

So far its a good show...

Tonight is basically going to re-hash the actual attack...Not sure how they are going to blend in the editorial commentary they sometimes do in productions like this...Who knows...

I saw it. They did include Able Danger info, but did not refer to it by name. Just a short blurb about military unit having info and not being allowed to legally share it.

I enjoyed. It is a textbook example of what is/was wrong. These guys are blowing us up all over the world for a decade, and ATF is looking for guys who have homemade machine guns and failing to pay $200 tax.

There also seems to be no intelligence at port of entry. Immigration seems to be easily fooled by clean passports and spreading out amongst several lines.

They also left out the attack at CIA/HQ by yet another jihadist.

What bugged me is how we had several opportunities to take out Bin Laden but didn't because of worries of collateral damage.

You're right, they we're real subtle about that information and that group...Maybe at the time of production, they didn't know much more than what they included in the program at that time...

It was interesting to see how blatant the diversionary tactics used by the terrorists to sacrifice one guy, and allow another more deadly terrorist to get through (as a matter of convienence) to keep the "delays" to everyone else to a minimum...

That attack on the CIA folks was after 9-11 wasn't it??? I may be wrong...

The folks working for Clinton sure did have the opportunity to really muck up their works if they wanted to...

But instead they went out of their way to find a way NOT to do something about it...

I don't think anyone here, hindsight being 20/20, would have had a problem, if during that time we rounded up a few choice slimballs like this, and had a little chat with them...

I bet we are not making that mistake anymore...And that being just an idea...We'll never hear about those snatches...And I'm ok with that as well...I just got a good hunch we're raining fairly heavy on their parade these days...

Britain (as much attention as they are getting) are just now coming aboard...Unfortunately they had to get their nose bloodied first...

If you guys want a real good book to read...

Get "Terrorist Hunter" (by Anonymous)...Its a couple of years old...And the author has been outted (her choice) since then...She's a nice lady, and I have had several discussions with her over the last year...The book is her life story...And a good read...I highly recommend it for those wanting to truely get up to speed on where the "real" threat is...

Is this a two-parter? I didn't know about it before this thread, but I just set my DirecTiVo to catch two different 2-hour episodes tonight.

Yes, they are replaying Part 1 at 1800, and then part 2 comes on at 2000.

So its a double-header...

Thinking about it...Isn't it ironic that it appears to be an appropriate action to have a "commission" on the original commission???

Since so much has been missed in the first one...

Makes you wonder what Sandy Berger was actually doing stuffing those classified documents in his pants those times...Everyone thought it was a big funny to do...

If I was caught stuffing anything while I was in the service, I expected to get "stuffed"...

Just makes you go hmmmmm...

I wonder more about what Berger left behind, than what he took.
