Sad news, indeed.

I have his books and enjoyed those stories. None will be mistaken for fine literature, but they are good stories, and many of them doubtlessly true.

Saw that news late last night, saddened to hear it. He was a legendary man, and belongs right up there with Rangers like Jack Hays and Bill McDonald. May he rest in peace. :txflag:

Sad news indeed. I met him at a book signing in San Angelo, TX. He spoke well and have a lot of respect for him. RIP and may his memory be eternal...

He and I were elected to the NRA Board the same year (2001) and I knew him well. Anyone who has read his books know of the family tragedy he and his wife have suffered.
Prayers for Joaquin's family.

I can imagine a spirited debate between the two of you regarding the AWB and magazine capacities...

RIP Ranger. Thank you for your service. :txflag:
