What Is / Are Your Carry Gun(s)?

What Gun(s) Do you Carry at Least Semi-Regularly? No antique or heirloom guns that you've only carried a couple times. For example, I have a single action revolver that I carry sometimes to NRA meetings and gun club BBQs. I open carry it once or twice a year. That doesn't count. The gun has to see real carry use and not be a safe queen.

I had a similar survey up a couple years ago, but it did not include the Glock 43, FN Five Seven, nor Kel-Tec PMR-30.

If I missed your personal carry pistol, please enter it as a reply post instead of a survey response. The survey template only allows up to 20 choices, no more. That's why I missed your pistol.

P.S. I forgot that open carry is legal now, so I changed the question from "What CCW do you Carry?" to ?What are your carry guns?" I plan on open carrying a Glock 34 or a 1911 (haven't decided yet) in the summer and concealed carrying a smaller gun in the winter. I wanted to know how common it is to do so, that's why I added Glock 34, Glock 17L, Fn 5-7, and Kel-Tec PMR30 to the survey this time around. Thanks for responding!

P.P.S. I'm not thrilled about the 1911's lack of capacity in single stack for my small hands, BUT there is a 1911 smart gun available that will not fire if an attacker steals my gun because I am open carrying.

Depending upon where I am going and how I will dress I choose between Ruger LCP 380, Ruger P95DC 9mm, or Rock Island 1911-A2 45 Doublestack.

Given the recent announcement that Hilldabeast will be allowed to continue her ascension to the throne, I reluctantly voted with my firearms previously used. It seems all mine were lost while manning the buckets during in the fireworks display last night.

This survey really needs an "other" category.

I alternate between a Glock 19 or an M&P Shield in 9mm. It depends what I'm wearing.

Day to day is a G19 but on days I go to the range I carry a G32 converted to .40.

One of my favorite carry weapons was not listed, the Sig 938.

Springfield XD Mod 2 3" sub compact in FDE 9mm. Either 13 or 16 rounds is available. I carry this every chance I get.

My back up is a S&W 642.

Up for my next purchase is a Shield, XDS, or LC9 Pro depending on which I like the best.

I normally alternate between my two officer's size 1911s. I've had an STI Escort for a couple of years that I really like. I also recently bought a Colt Defender, and am very happy with it, too.

Can you tell that I really like the little 1911s?

I picked up the Glock 43 two weeks ago and put about 500 rounds through it at the range with ZERO problems. Prior to that I'd alternated between Glock 26 and Bersa BP9CC for the most part. Occasionally a wheel gun when feeling nostalgic.

I'm sold on the 43 and really love it. In fact, I'm downsizing a good bit of my collection to reflect almost exclusively Glock. (go ahead, G-haters, hate...haha) Getting rid of a few and going to pick up the G19 and G30, bringing my Glock collection to 4, and probably leave it at that.

The rest is rifles and shotguns, mainly tactical.

 I have been a fan of Glocks since the early 90's.
