I am currently running a vortex sparc 2 on my AR but would really like to upgrade to a 3-4 power optic that you can look through during the daytime and not have to turn it on and at night you can turn a switch to light up the retical. I dont wanna go over 270$. Suggestions?

Nikon P-223 3x32. It's small and clear and a lot less than $270. And the reviews are good.

The PA 1-6 with ACSS reticle is very good as well as the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6. I've also used the Nikon 3x32 as mentioned and it's a nice scope as well. Any of these 3 will work for what you are wanting.
